Treat your loved ones to a braai with a difference with these cost-effective and delicious mushroom skewers by 5FM radio presenter, Sureshnie Rider.
Prep Time: 10 Mins |Marinade Time: 30 mins | Cook Time: 10 mins | Total Time: 50 mins
2 punnets button mushrooms, each mushroom sliced thick in half (so a skewer can go through)
2 tbsp. balsamic vinegar
1 tbsp. soy Sauce
3 cloves of garlic, chopped
1/2 tsp. thyme, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
Marinate the mushrooms in the mixture of the remaining ingredients for 30 minutes. Skewer the mushrooms and grill over medium-high heat until tender and slightly charred, about 2 to 3 minutes per side.
