Walk To Feed Hungry Children

Miss SA 2017 Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters joined enthusiastic employees from Sun International’s GrandWest to pound the pavements at the annual Blisters for Bread fun walk at Green Point Stadium.

The event took place on Sunday, 27 August 2017 and is organised annually in support of the Peninsula School Feeding Association (PSFA). In addition to sponsoring employee participation, GrandWest also sponsored a hospitality marquee. Blisters for Bread was a resounding success, attracting 12 500 entries and raising R625 000 for the PSFA, which will provide 1 390 underprivileged schoolchildren with a nutritious breakfast and lunch for an entire calendar year.
