There are no two ways about it; winter is tough on skin. There are three things you can do to prevent the cold temperatures, wind and dry air from reeking havoc on your skin…
- Add oil to your bath water or if you’re a shower type of girl then hop in with an in-shower moisturiser to help replenish the moisture lost during the day.
- Exfoliate your body twice weekly with an oil-based body scrub to get rid of dead skin. This will allow for the occasional skipping of lotion on the days when you’re pressed for time (don’t make it a habit).
- Look for a body moisturiser to keep next to where you lay your head every night. It could be a cream, bodybutter or lotion to serve as a reminder that you need to moisturise before you get into bed.
