Three Ways To Beat Dry Skin

There are no two ways about it; winter is tough on skin. There are three things you can do to prevent the cold temperatures, wind and dry air from reeking havoc on your skin…

  1. Add oil to your bath water or if you’re a shower type of girl then hop in with an in-shower moisturiser to help replenish the moisture lost during the day.
  2. Exfoliate your body twice weekly with an oil-based body scrub to get rid of dead skin. This will allow for the occasional skipping of lotion on the days when you’re pressed for time (don’t make it a habit).
  3. Look for a body moisturiser to keep next to where you lay your head every night. It could be a cream, bodybutter or lotion to serve as a reminder that you need to moisturise before you get into bed.
