Prep Your Skin For Winter

Have you started preparing your skin for the winter? If you haven’t, or would like to but have no idea where to start or what to do, we’ll tell you how!

It is adviseable to begin preparing your skin for colder weather before the seasons actually change, so that your skin doesn’t protest against drastic decreases in temperature.

  1. Exfoliation: Exfoliate your face and body at least twice a week to remove dead skin cells.
  2. Replenish your skin products: Replace your warm-weather skincare products with ones that have rich formulations. You don’t need to change your skincare routine, but rather just add a rich moisturiser or serum for deeper, longer lasting result.
  3. Use sun lotion: Don’t let the cold temperature fool you into thinking the sun is not dangerous. The winter sun is just as harsh to the skin as the summer sun, so be rigid in your approach to sun protection.
