Plank And Rotate To Strengthen Your Core

While crunches are a very effective core exercise, there are other ab workouts that can help you get rid of your belly fat.

A plank and rotate exercise can help your tone your midsection and love handles:

Step One: Grab two 5kg dummbells and start in a plank position holding a dumbbell in each hand. Stiffen your wrists to avoid injuring your joints and keep legs hip-width apart.

Step Two:  Lift your right hand up towards the ceiling, reaching through your entire torso. This will enable you to rotate your pelvis.

Step Three:  Bring your right hand back to the floor and repeat the same action with your left hand to complete one rep.

Step Four:  Do 12 to 15 reps to complete a set.
