Every woman wants a glowing skin! Do you visit a skin expert, buy skin products or wear make-up? There are so many ways to take care of your skin, some are costly and others are not. Below are five methods to help you get your glow on, and they are not that costly.

 

1.Use Sunscreen

Being exposed to the sun can causes wrinkle and preventing the damage is easier than fixing it afterwards. This applies for all seasons; the sunrays are just as robust in winter as in summer. It is advisable to seek for a skin’s expert advice when buying sunscreen in order to find a cream that is suitable to you.

2. Clean Makeup Brushes

According to Women’s Health Mag, a ‘British study found that 72% of women never wash their brushes or sponges, even though they collect dirt and bacteria which can cause breakouts.’ It is important to wash powder brushes each and every two to three weeks whereas those you use to apply foundation must be washed at least once a week.

How To Wash: Mix a few drops of a facial cleanser with lukewarm water in a cup, swish the brushes around and rinse with lukewarm water. Thereafter, pat dry, and lay flat to air dry.

3. Sleep Early

There’s a reason they call it beauty sleep. Amy Wechsler, U.S. physician and psychiatrist, states that ‘sleep deprivation lowers circulation, which is why you look pale and washed out if you only get a few hours.” When you are sleeping, you are rejuvenating your skin.’

4. Sanitise Your Phone

A study conducted by Stanford University revealed that your cellphone gets infested with more germs than a public toilet! Mobile devices with touchscreens spread viruses by just sharing them; it is as bad as coughing and sneezing in someone else’s face. The germs on the face on the phone land directly right to your cheek and jawline every time you talk on the phone, causing spots and irritation. Wipe your phone with anti-bacterial wipes to keep your phone and face free from bacteria.

5. Rock Your Shades

This might another reason for you to buy new sunglasses! On a serious note, shades give more protection against wrinkles that take place under your eyes than sunscreen. Even though your eyes are well equipped to handle sunlight, the area around them comprises the thinnest skin, where most of the signs of ageing take place.
